MIDI says several invitation rounds will be held between now and January 16, 2020
The Ministère de l’immigration, de la diversité et de l’inclusion (MIDI) recently announced that the first round of invitations will happen shortly, and that the government will give priority to candidates in Arrima who meet at least one of these conditions:
- Those who applied for selection before August 2, 2018 and who were temporarily staying in Quebec at the time of the application;
- Those who applied for selection before August 2, 2018 and who are now residing in Quebec;
- Those who have a job offer validated by a Quebec employer.
MIDI has also provided more details about how Arrima will be used to help match immigration applicants with employers in Quebec.
Arrima will provide an employer portal that will allow Quebec businesses to find and communicate directly with candidates in the Arrima pool, and make it easier for employers to provide candidates with validated offers.
