- Individuals in the Information and Communication Technology (ICT) sector are exempt from the Labour Market Impact Assessment (LMIA) requirement.
- The business venture must demonstrate the potential to create significant economic benefits for Canada.
- Applicants should have a minimum of 1 year of work experience with a company that has a parent company, branch, subsidiary, or affiliate in Canada.
- Invest a minimum of $100,000 (equivalent to ₹65 lakhs) in the business to secure a one-year work permit, which can be renewed.
- Having an exploratory visit or visitor visa can provide an advantage.
- After 1 or 2 years, applicants can apply for permanent residency with a minimum IELTS score of 6 bands or higher.
