IMMIGRATION LAWYERSThe Ontario Immigration Nominee Program (OINP) is a Canadian immigration program that facilitates individuals seeking permanent residency in Canada. To be eligible, you must have a valid profile under the Express Entry system.
There are four programs managed through Ontario:
- Human Capital Priorities stream
- Masters Graduate stream
- PhD Graduate stream
- Skilled Trades stream
Eligibility:
Human Capital Priorities Stream
This program is open to Express Entry Federal Skilled Worker and Canadian Experience Class candidates.
Applicants must have at least one year of full-time work experience in TEER 0, 1, 2, or 3 job categories within the last five years.
Age requirements are between 21 to 44 years.
Education should be at the diploma, bachelor, master, or Ph.D. level.
A minimum IELTS score of CLB 7 is required, and both IELTS and CELPIP are accepted.
Funding requirement: Approximately $13,800 for the primary applicant and $3,700 for each dependent.
Master Graduate Stream & PhD Graduate Stream
These streams are available to individuals who have completed a master's or Ph.D. degree in Ontario.
Applications must be submitted within two years of completing the degree.
Applicants must have legally resided in Ontario for at least one year within the last two years.
At the time of application, candidates should have legal status in Canada, such as a Study Permit or Work Permit.
A minimum of one year of full-time work experience in TEER 0, 1, 2, or 3 job categories is required.
An IELTS score of at least CLB 7 is necessary.
Skilled Trades Stream
This stream enables foreign nationals to gain Ontario work experience in eligible skilled trades with the opportunity to permanently live and work in Ontario.
Applicants should have at least one year of cumulative paid full-time work experience in Ontario within the last two years.
At the time of application, candidates must have legal status in Canada, such as a Study Permit or Work Permit.
A valid certificate or license in a specific skill in Ontario is required at the time of application.
A minimum IELTS score of CLB 5 is required, and both IELTS and CELPIP are accepted.
